One district--St. Vrain <br />and Left Hand Water Conservancy District--has submitted <br />an application. A second district, namely the Northern <br />Colorado Fater Conservancy District, has indicated that <br />an application for a feasibility study will be forwarded <br />to our office in the near future. Both of these feasibil- <br />ity studies will require substantial sums of money. The <br />feasibility investigation being considered by the Northern <br />Colorado Water Conservancy District would involve a study <br />of the Cache La Poudre River and is estimated to cost <br />about $1 million. The staff feels that a study of this <br />scope and cost should be specifically authorized by the <br />General Assembly. <br /> <br />JWMcD: mm <br />
