Merriman, Assistant Section Chief <br />Environmental and Hydrology Section <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Preliminary Notice - Minimum Streamflow/Lake Level <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />Please find attached the Preliminary Notice of m~n~mum streamflow/lake <br />level recommendaticns which will be presented to the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board for informational purposes only at their next regu- <br />lar meeting in on This <br />Preliminary Notice constitutes the start of a public review and com- <br />ment period which will run for a minimum of 90 days before the Board <br />will take any formal action on these recommendations. <br /> <br />Should you wish to comment on the minimum streamflow/lake level recom- <br />mendations as presented in the Preliminary Notice, you may do so by <br />writing to the staff at the address given above. It should be noted <br />that while your public appearance at the Board meeting is welcomed, <br />such an appearance is not necessary in order for your concerns to be <br />recognized. The staff will take your comments into account and, if <br />you so request, present them to the Board in your absence. <br /> <br />To insure adequate notification of all interested parties, we are re- <br />questing that you share this notice with any groups or individuals whom <br />you feel would have an interest in the minimum streamflow/lake level <br />recommendations as presented herein. <br /> <br />The State's Minimum Streamflow/Lake Level Program is administered by <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board pursuant to Senate Bill 97 (sec- <br />tion 37-92-102, CRS 1973, as amended). <br /> <br />DCM:njf <br /> <br />encl. <br />
