The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brook and cutthroat trout

fishery.

e

. Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of2 cfs, summer, and 1 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. CWCB staff has conducted a
water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for the Board's appropriation.
. CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights.

CONSULTATIONS:

DOW: Jay Skinner

7/1/96

I DWR: Ken Knox

8/26/96

CWCB STAFF:

Prepared By: Uppendahl

1/15/98

I Reviewed By: Espegren

1/20/98

e

C:\MARKINEW _RECSIDIV _ 4\19971wp\97 _A_Roc_sum_lpl.doc
