Ted Moulder."

"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board,
ladies and gentlemen, our report for this
particular meeting will consist of four
parts. We wanted to give you the status
on our reports, on our field activities, on
our office activities, and announce the
entrance into a new phase of our studies.

The reports that were put out by the
Survey since the last Board meeting consists
of one that was prepared by Cliff Jenkins
and it describes teChniques for computing
rated volume of stream depletion by wells.
This is an important sub-element of our
overall studies. Three other reports, the
status of them are that Circular 12 will be
a report on our studies made for the Colo-
rado Water Conservation Board in the piceance
Creek; one other report is scheduled to com-
plete the report on that area. A sequel to
this report by Mr. Jenkins is now prepared,
is in the final review stage, and is scheduled
for release to the open-file before the next
Board meeting at which time I will have some
here for distribution. Lastly, the report
on floods has reached its final stage and
will be published in the near future as
Water Supply Paper 1680. This describes
floods on the South Platte River Basin dur-
ing the 1965 year.

As far as field activities during this
last month, we've made an emphasis on get-
ting our pre-irrigation season inventory
of ground water storage. Just this week we
have completed the inventory of ground water I
storage in the South Platte. From all indi-
cations we will have an above average amount
of storage in that area for the irrigators
to use during this coming season.

The same kind of ground water inventory
is being made in the Arkansas Valley start-
ing this coming week.
