<br />input that went into those. priorities, and I took the prerogative of <br />appointing Mr. Kroeger, Mr.Vandemoer and myself as members to make <br />further reconnnendations to you at this meeting. <br /> <br />We have me,t -at considerable length and Mr. Vandemoer will make. the- <br />report for: our ad hoc. committee. <br /> <br />MR. VANDEMOER: Thank you, Ben. We went over this, and I think it's <br />too bad now because this is the last meeting. and I don't think anybody <br />has these proposed:"priority of project sheets: in front of -them, -but <br />if you remember., we had fourteen different criteria, and then we had. <br />anywhere: from zero to ten, or in some cases: up to seventeen on the <br />criteria that was used by the staff. <br /> <br />After-going over it carefully and asking-a lot of questions,.we have <br />concluded that they really did a good job, and it gets down to where <br />when you make changes it's probably judgment changes. <br /> <br />The Board members that did look over this decided, though, that: we <br />would like to weight the urgency a little more than. the-staff had in <br />their priorities, and we also wanted to weight less the date of applica- <br />tion. In other words, we didn't feel that just because.you:were the <br />first one in with a problem that you should get more points than some- <br />body who came in a month or so later. So, Larry and the staff are <br />going to look over the priority system as they had set up and make <br />some changes, but we do have recommendation-for the twelve projects. <br />which we looked at. last month, last:meeting. . <br /> <br />We would leave Dove Creek first; Trinchera second; Hayden ~hird;Delta <br />fourth; and then after that we would move Rico, which was seventh, we'd <br />move that to fifth. Keenesburg, which was eighth, up to sixth, and . <br />then we go right on down the list as their priority,-Brighton,Yamcolo, <br />Winter Park, Overland Ditch, Hotchkiss and Montrose. <br /> <br />-. - <br /> <br />The reason we moved Rico:and Keenesburg up was they: were very hiih in_ <br />urgency, and we thought if-we were.going to be limited-and weren t . <br />going to be-able to do all the proj~cm_,probably they should need it.a <br />Ii ttle sooner than the others. - . <br /> <br />The~recommendation of this committee-would be the order that I just <br />listed. <br /> <br />MR.
