Both bills are out <br /> <br />15 of the legislative committee on water that met at the end of <br /> <br />16 calendar year 1979. <br /> <br />17 Let me talk about House Bill 1039 first of all. <br /> <br />18 Bill 1039 would propose to divert a percentage of the sales <br /> <br />19 and use tax revenues prior to their entering the general fund <br /> <br />20 and applying that diversion to the Colorado Water Conservation <br /> <br />21 Board construction fund. <br /> <br />22 You see attached to the body of the bill itself a <br /> <br />23 fiscal note. If you turn to the last page of that, you will <br /> <br />24 see the stated revenue which this bill would generate for the <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />Water Board's construction fund based on that five percent <br />
