Contract Processing Status Report

INTRODUCTION. A Contract Status Report is attached showing the list of contracts completed since the
beginning of the fiscal year, July 1, 1997, the status of contracts in process, and the projects awaiting
contracts as of April 30, 1998.

CONTRACTS COMPLETED. A total of 27 contracts have been completed this fiscal year with a total value
of $6.55 million. Since the last board meeting in March, 1 contract and 2 amendments shown below,
were completed,

1. Arkansas Groundwater Users Assn - Purchase water rights

2. Excelsior Irrigating Company - Amendment to release collateral

3, Colorado River Water Conservation District - Amendment

CONTRACTS IN PROCESS. The status of 15 contracts-in-process for $1.8 million is listed below and on
the attached report:

1. Boulder Left Hand Ditch Company, a loan from the small project loan account in the amount of
$50,000 as approved by the Board at its March 10, 1998 meeting, The Attorney General's Office
started drafting the contract on April 16, 1998.

2. Sravo Ditch Company, an amendment to reduce the final loan amount to $39,098.50, This
contract was routed to the State Controllers Office for final review and approval on April 28, 1998,

3, Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Company, an amendment to increase the loan amount to $382,250 in
accordance with the Soard action at the November 1997 meeting, The draft contract was
forwarded to the borrower for review on March 20, 1998.

Colorado Water Protective & Development Association, a feasibility study loan in the amount of
$75,000 approved by the Soard at its November 1993 meeting, The draft contract documents
were sent to the borrower for review on February 20, 1998.
