<br />. <br /> <br />acre feet of basic water allocation, California's progress with <br />respect to the "Interim Surplus Guidelines" adopted by the Bureau <br />of Reclamation for administration of waters within the Colorado <br />River system, any proposals for the marketing or exchange of <br />water supplies among the states and tribes which comprise or <br />derive water supplies from the Colorado River basin, development <br />of the Annual Operating Plan and reviews of the Long Range <br />Operating Criteria, issues concerning the 1944 Mexican Water <br />Treaty and the Colorado River Delta, discussions concerning the <br />use of Upper Colorado River basin water in the Lower Colorado <br />River Basin (Navajo-Gallup and Utah's Lake Powell Pipeline), <br />potential compact litigation, and issues related to the Commission's <br />annual budget; and <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Provide regular and timely reports to the executive director of the <br />Department of Natural Resources and the Director ofthe Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board concerning all significant activities and <br />concerns related to Colorado's interests under the Upper Colorado <br />River Compact and the 7-Basin States; and <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Provide an invoice of $1 ,850,00 per month for 11 months (August <br />1,2004 through June 30, 2005) for all cost regarding the Upper <br />Colorado River Commission and the 7-Basin State meetings. This <br />agreement shall not exceed $20,350.00. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />d. The Commissioner will report to and receive direction from the <br />CWCB either through regularly scheduled agenda items or special <br />meetings should the need arise. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page 3 of3 <br />
