Introduction <br /> <br />This document outlines the procedures used by the Colorado <br /> <br />Water Conservation Board (ewCB) in initiating, processing, <br /> <br />filing and maintaining the water right appropriations <br /> <br />authorized by 37-92-102(3), CRS 1973, as amended. These <br /> <br />include the functions of the CWCB staff, Division of <br /> <br />Wildlife (DOW) , Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation <br /> <br />(DPOR), and the Office of the Attorney General (AG). <br /> <br />II. Requests for Recommendations <br /> <br />A. The director shall request written recommendations from <br /> <br />DOW and DPOR which shall contain a statement that those <br /> <br />agencies have determined that there is a natural <br /> <br />environment that can be preserved to a reasonable <br /> <br />degree by their respective recommendations. <br /> <br />B. The recommendations of DOW and of DPOR shall be <br /> <br />received by the ewCB staff at least 75 days prior to <br /> <br />the Board meeting at which they are to be presented. <br />
