Between April I and October <br />15, if the mean flow of the South Platte at Julesburg drops below 120 cfs, water rights on the South Platte in Colorado between <br />the western boundary of Washington County and the state line (Lower Section) with priority dates junior to June 14, 1897 are <br />curtailed, Colorado reserves the right to develop 35.000 acre-feet of storage in the Lower Section. but only in the event that the <br />Perkins County Canal in Nebraska is built. That canal would divert flow from the South Platte near the town of Ovid into <br />Nebraska. <br /> <br />References <br /> <br />I.
