MR. OGILVIE:

"Thank you. Mr. Chairman. It is real fine
to come back and visit: with your Board. Ben.
it has been a number of years since I met
with your BOard. I think the last time was in
Canon City. At that time we discussed the
Fryingpan-Arkansas Project and had a real fine
meet~ng. It is always a pleasure to meet with
your group where we have to cooperate in many
ways on water development and since I have
moved over to a new job I find it very inter-
esting, NoW I am not only dealing with cold
water but with hot water tool"

MR. STAPLETON:

"Not as hot as it was ten years ago, is it?"

MR. OGILVIE:

"It is rather interesting and I am proud
to be representing the Water Department of
Denver here at this meeting and to tell you
a little about our work. I am also real happy
today to knoW that our Board of Commissioners,
Board of Water Commissioners, made up of out-
standing people in the Denver community are
very interested in the work of this Board and
in the development of water. I have with me
today the President of our Board, Mr. Andrew
Horan. I think it would be appropriate to
introduce Mr. Horan and recognize his presence
here as being interested in the work of your
Board. "

"The Board of Water Commissioners was
established by charter provisions and it is
charged with providing a continual supply,
adequate in quality and quantity to serve the
Denver area. It is a five man Board appointed
by the Mayor for six year terms, staggered,
