M. on December <br />23. On the second unit, bearing tests were <br />started yesterday and we hope that the second <br />unit will be in service late this month. <br /> <br />There are some minor construction activi- <br />ties at Blue Mesa Dam and po'~erplant. <br /> <br />Crystal Dam, as I 2m sure most of you are <br />aware, the construction has not yet started. <br /> <br />We have some work continuing at Flaming <br />Gorge unit, elevators, some paving and generally <br />small matters on this unit which has been in <br />operation for some time. <br /> <br />The same at Glen Canyon. The final windup <br />items are an elevator job there and some im- <br />provements in the community of Page. <br /> <br />At the Navajo Dam we are doing some work <br />there. at the dam itself consisting of a cover <br />for the wheel gate hoist and control cabinet. <br /> <br />Our transmission division which is a net- <br />work of lines that transmits project power has <br />been finished substantially for some time. At <br />the present time there are some access roads <br />that are under way. <br /> <br />To particular interest in Colorado are <br />the participating projects. Work on the <br />Bostwick Park Project is continuing with the <br />substantial completion of Silver Jack Darn. <br />The dam.structure itself is about 96 percent <br />finished. We are still doing some concrete <br />work in the gate chamber inside the dam and <br />of course work at that high elevation this <br />time of the year is somewhat impaired. <br /> <br />Work is proceeding on the largest partici- <br />pating project now under construction in the <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />
