I

below hate, about three miias below, the South
Fork of the ~ite River comes in. This is the
junction of the North Fork coming in here and
the South Fork coming in from this canyon here.
We wiil always have a good flow below that
junction in our operation plan, much higher
than was recommended.

So although we haven't met recommendations
six and seven exactly in the dry years, we have
attempted to meet them and we have met them in
most cases.

Item eight, requested releases from Lost
Park Reservoir down Lost Creek. The Lost Park
Reservoir is up in this area and the damsite
is right across here. This is Lost Creek
running down here where it joins the North Fork
of the White River down in this area. They
requested that 10 cfs in summer and 5 cfs in
the winter be released from that reservoir.
We have provided this: we are providing it, I
should say, in our water supply operation
studies now and this will be a definite en-
hancement to this stream, because the free flow
records now show that that gets down to zero,
arou~d one cfs, during the raIl and winter
months. So we have an opportunity here to
improve this stream and make a small fishing
stream out of it.

I

The next recommendation, nine, was to pro-
vide along the Yellow Jacket Canal about 8 elk
and deer crossings and 5 miles of elkproof
fence to keep the deer and elk away from bench
flume sections along the canal and to keep them
out of the canal. This we are providing in our
construction design. This is the North Fork
of the White River coming down here. Big
Beaver. Creek comes down in this area. This is
the ~ame and Fish Department's Lake Avery
~eservoir qn Big Beaver Creek. Our canal line
would come right around this area, around through
the hills up above and across Big Beaver up in
here by siphon and then a tunnel through right
