ZUIZ

MR. STAPLETON:

MR. SPARKS:

MR. STAPLETON:

Agencies of the State of Colorado". In that
publication we have, for the first time, com-
piled a list of all the organized conservancy
districts within the State of Colorado. ~e
have set forth those districts with a complete
roster of all the board members, officers,
assessed valuation, and the projects which
each is fostering. Up to this time I had no
idea what conservancy districts we had in
Colorado. There was no agency in the state
which knew what districts we had, and we have
constantly had requests for such information.
With the compilation of those agencies, we
also included the Southwestern Water Conser-
vation District, which is organized under a
special law; the Colorado River ~ater Conser-
vation District which is also organized under
a special law; and our own Board, setting
forth the board members and also a brief his-
tory of the Board. That is, we have all the
past board members and some of the key staff
members set forth and the dates that they
served.

I

We also have a complete and up to date
compilation of all the laws of the State of
Colorado relating to conservancy and conser-
vation districts for which we have had a
tremendous demand both in and out of state.
That publication will be complete with all the
laws, names of the board members, and the
purposes, assessed valuation, and pertinent
facts concerning each district and will be
kept up to date by yearly supplements."

"These publications are available to the
general public at a nominal cost which covers
roughly the cost of reproduction, is that it?"

"That is true. From time to time we pub-
lish a list of all the publications available.
There is a nominal charge which does not cover
the actual cost, but which assists in mail-
ing and packaging charges."

"I would now like to introduce to the
members of the Board Judge George Blickhahn.
It's nice to have you with us, Judge. We are
delighted to have the use of your courtroom
today. We are most indebted to you."

I
