"Mr. ~'lood, how many ground water studies
are still being undertaken, how many do you
have under contemplation, where do you stand
in an overall completion of the ground water
studies by your agency in Colorado?"

"We have, without a list handy I don't
think 1 can give the exact number, but we
have roughly ten or twelve projects in all
sorts of completions. We have reports in
the pipeline Which are all the way from open
file to being delivered to the printer and
awaiting publication. We have such projects
as the Arkansas Valley. We have three re~orts
in the mill for the Denver Basin but none of
them have been released to the open file yet -
interpretative reports. We have a report on
the High Plains which is in our manuscript
form which has not been released. We have a
Basic Data Report which we just transmitted
to the printer for duplication today on an
area north of the South Platte River and east
of the Cache la poudre in Weld, Logan, Lari-
mer Counties, up out of the Valley. That
Basic Data Report will be published in a few
weeks.

We have a project going on in the allu-
vium north of the Arkansas River, east of
Fountain Creek and southwest of the Big Sandy.
We have another project which is the bedrock
aquifers in southeastern Colorado, princi-
pally the Dakotas and Cheyenne sandstones.
Most of the area is south of the Arkansas
River and east of the mountain front.

I know there are several others which
I have forgotten but there is still consid-
erable work going on. We have a project
which will be started this coming fiscal
year in the piceance Basin, a reconnaissance
of the water resources."
