Law, Executive Director <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Report on Authority's Activities <br /> <br />Small Water Resources Projects <br /> <br />The Small Water Resources Projects, 1994 Series B bond issue was closed on October 19. The following <br />entities participated in this financing: <br /> <br />Entities <br />Town of Carbondale <br />Project 7 Water Auth. <br />City of Rifle <br />Upper Eagle Reg. W. A. <br />Total <br /> <br />Loan Amount <br />$1,910,000 <br />$4,100,000 <br />$1,295,000 <br />$2.000 000 <br />$9,305,000 <br /> <br />The bonds had a final maturity of 2015 and an all.in bond interest rate of 6.29 percent. <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund <br /> <br />The Authority recently received the 1994 Capitalization Grant of $9,536,100 from the Environmental <br />Protection Agency (EPA). Since 1989 the WPCRF has received approximately $81,667,957 from EPA. <br />Loans totaling more than $24,000,000 were executed in 1994, and $40,000,000 in loans is expected in -\.. <br />1995. "...---..-'"' '. <br /> <br />Domestic Water Supply Project Revolving Fund <br /> <br />As I mentioned at the September meeting, three entities have submitted applications: Hoover Hill Water <br />District, Baca Grande Water and Sanitation District and the town of Monument. Hoover Hill has received <br />Board approval for a $181,000 loan. Baca Grande and Monument have been deferred untif next year. <br />Staff is reviewing the AWDI water rights issue in conjunction with the Baca Grande application and the <br />project descriptions for Monument and Baca Grande. <br /> <br />Staff is working with the Treasurer's office and the Attorney General's office to finalize the form of loan <br />agreement. Based on the final form of the loan agreement, the Memorandum of Understanding with the <br />Treasurer's office may need to be modified slightly. Both of these documents should be finalized at our <br />December 5 meeting. <br />
