Kelly Couey moved that the following Resolution be adopted and _ <br />Gregory Durrett seconded the motion: ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the West Divide Water Conservancy District <br />did hold their regular quarterly meeting July 17, 1991 in Room <br />305 of the Garfield County Building located at 902 Taughenbaugh <br />B'~.Jlevard in Rifle, Colorado and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, they did agree to support the Tri-District study of the Owens Creek <br />water project development with the assistance of the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board and the United States Bureau of Reclamation <br />and;. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the 4-18-91 meeting of the Tri-District Committee studying the <br />Owen's Creek project possibilities, the committee did agree <br />upon a $50.00 per hour credit for the Districts for meeting <br />attendance from time leaving office or home until return, including <br />the necessary office work for the project study while working <br />for the Project, plus reasonable and necessary expenses; and, <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, the Ute Water Conservancy District, the Battlement Mesa Water <br />Conservancy District and the West Divide Water Conservancy District <br />will be asked to include $1,000.00 in their respective 1992 <br />budgets to help cover these costs; and, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board and the United States <br />Bureau of Reclamation have offered their services and their <br />intent to enter into their 1991 Budgets, on condition that the <br />three Districts enter this item in their respective 1991 Budgets, <br />monies for this study; and, <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, The Colorado River Water Conservation District will also be <br />asked to enter funds into their 1992 Budget for this study; <br /> <br />THEREFORE; be it resolved that, the West Divide Water Conservancy District <br />Board of Directors will give consideratton to, and, adopt a <br />minimum of $I,OOO.OO for the Owens Creek Study in their 1992 <br />Budget; <br /> <br />Roll call vote as follows; Director Kelly Couey, Aye: Director <br />Gregory Durrett, Aye; and, Director Carl Bernklau, Aye.
