Proactively work with the Board, key program stakeholders and the public to <br /> <br />develop an objective and reproducible framework for evaluating, quantifying and <br /> <br />prioritizing environmental and recreational water goals <br /> <br />. Strive for balance in, and reduce conflicts between, human needs for water and <br /> <br />recreation and the environment <br /> <br />. Increase levels of understanding and communication <br /> <br /> <br />. Track new and emerging issues <br /> <br />. Expand use of external resources <br /> <br />. Identify needs ofthe projects and process identified to address 80% of Colorado's <br /> <br />2030 municipal and industrial needs (relative to the ISF Program) <br /> <br /> <br />. Enhance current relationships (e.g., Federal government) <br /> <br />. Pursue and obtain funding <br /> <br />Serve Water Providers and the Public - Serve water providers and the public in the areas <br />of: <br /> <br />. Biological data collection and scientific analysis <br />. Hydrologic and engineering analysis <br />. State water policy and water law <br />. Water quality <br />. Gaging and measurement <br />. Decision Support Services <br />. Reviewing RICD applications and making appropriate recommendations <br />. Engendering coordination and cooperation <br />. Providing regulatory stability by using program tools to assist with permitting and <br />mitigation needs, as only can be accomplished by a state agency <br /> <br />Statewide Outreach and Education - Each Section shall perform outreach and education <br />including participating in public awareness and program advocacy activities to increase <br />public and organizational understanding of CWCB and develop opportunities for each <br />Section to achieve their goals. <br /> <br />10 <br />
