"I realize that. If you express the thought
that we asked that you go, under those circum-
stances I am sure we can count on their coopera-
tion. "

"It would be at the request of the Governor
of the state."

"Yes. All right, then will you so inform
the Governor?"

"Right."

"Now we only have one more agenda item - #9
'Funds Available in 1962 for the Bureau of
Reclamation' . Kuip, do you want to talk about
that?"

"I think the item as submitted is pretty
much self-explanatory. I don't think anything
particular would be accomplished by reading it
in detai 1. It. s more in the nature of an in-
formation bulletin than anything else, unless
someone has some questions about it."

"All right. I'd like to bring up the ques-
tion of the White House Regional Conference to
be held next Monday, November l3, at the Denver
'Hilton Hotel. As you know, from having received
an agenda, I am sure, that the Governor is the
host and that secretary Udall will give the
opening address. The Governor has asked that
as many as possible, not only of the Board, but
of interested water users, attend this meeting
primarily on water resources, at least in the
morning. I may state, however, to members of
the Board there will not be expenses available
for transportation. However, I am sure that
won't deter some of you from being there and I
am sure the Governor would appreciate all that
can be present.
