<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES <br />Summit Room, Quality Motor Hotel <br />Denver, Colorado <br /> <br />April 1, 1970 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Stapleton at <br />10:00 A. M. <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"We'll call this regularly scheduled meet- <br />ing of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />to order. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last meeting of the <br />Board on January 14, 1970 have been previously <br />sent to the Board. Are there any additions or <br />corrections to the minutes as submitted? If <br />not, I'll entertain a motion that they be approved <br />as delivered to you." <br /> <br />MR. BER'l'HELSON: "I move approval of the minutes as submitted." <br /> <br />MR. R.B. WILLIAMS: "I'll second." <br /> <br />MR. S'l'APLB'I.'ON: "It has been regularly moved and seconded <br />that the minutes of the Board meeting of January <br />14, 1970, be approved as submitted. All those <br />in favor will signify by saying 'aye': opposed - <br />so ordered. <br /> <br />With the Board's permission, I think we <br />will rearrange the agenda slightly to allow <br />some equipment to come for Region 4. So let's <br />go to Agenda Item #3, 'Recommendations re <br />Comments on Proposed Criteria for Operation of <br />Colorado River Reservoirs'. Larry, will you <br />take this item, please?" <br /> <br />MR. SPAlU(S I <br /> <br />"Mr. Chairman, we were not able to get <br />the final draft of the position of the four <br />Upper Basin states resolved until last Friday. <br />We therefore were not able to mail that posi- <br />tion statement to the Board members prior to <br />this meeting. However, the final draft is <br />almost identical with what was sent to the <br />Board members previously, although one or two <br />
