The Board reoessed at 12,10 p.m. to reconvene at 1,30 p.m.

The meeting reconvened and was oalled to order at 2,15 p.m. by Vice-
Chairman Chris m>.llrioh. Resumption of the oonsideration of' the stream
gaging work for project investigation development, involving contracts
between the United States Geological Survey and the Boord invoked further:
explanation of' the contract proposed f'or the next f'iscal year, by the Di-
rector. The Director, with the aid of' Chief Engineer C. L. Patterson,
submitted lists of stations included in the joint stream gaging work of'
the Boord and the United States Geological Survey..

It was moved by Miss Vena Pointer and seoonded by Judge
John B. O'Rourke that the proposed oontract between the Colorado
Water Conservation Board and the United States Geological Survey
for stream gaging work for project investigation and development,
involving expenditure of $6,500.00 f'or the next year be approved
and the Direotor authorized to execute the same on behalf of' the
Board; and that the payment under such contract be made out of
f'unds appropriated and available to the Board f'or the fiscal
year which ends June 30, 1943.

The question was oalled for, vote taken, and the motion
was unanimously carried and declared passed.

Further considerati on of the proposed budget for the peri od July 1,
1943 to June 30, 1944 was undertaken.

It was moved by Mr. Dille and seconded by Mlss.Pointer
that the Board approve the proposed budget f'or the period
July 1, 1943 to June 30, 1944, as submitted.

The motion was unanimously c..rried and declared passed.
