Riverside Reservoir and Land Comoanv <br />Authorization: SB 98-11 89 <br />Water Source: South Platte River <br />Terms of Loan: $450,000 @ 3.75% for 20 yrs. <br /> <br />Riverside Reservoir Soillwav Rehabilitation <br />County: Weld - NW of Wiggins <br />Project Yield: 200 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Spillway Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This project is the construction of an emergency spillway on the Riverside Reservoir Dam, located I I miles <br />northwest of Wiggins in Weld County. The State Engineer has placed a storage <br />restriction on the reservoir until an emergency spillway is completed. The Riverside Reservoir and Land Company <br />contracted with W.W. Wheeler and Associates of Denver to prepare construction plans and specifications. The State <br />Engineer's office and the Riverside Reservoir and Land Company are currently evaluating alternate spillway sizes. <br />Construction of the project is currently on-hold, pending resolution ofthe spillway size and downstream property <br />issues. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
