I

I

must consider any policy matters to be brought
before the membership the next day.

The annual meeting will begin at 10:00
A. M. and we will have reports on the program
from Larry Sparks, from the legislators, a
panel on the current status of legislation
at that time along with several other items,
plus by-laws changes and resolutions which
will, I think, greatly affect the role of
the Water congress in the future.

I would like to urge all of you to mark
that date, and for any of you who are on the
executive committee or on the rules committee
to reserve the afternoon of February 19th for
that meeting of these committees at 2:00 P. M."

MR. STAPLETON:

"Thank you, Gordon."

MR. Luncheon
will be served in the room two doors down on
my left."

The meeting recessed at 12:10 P. M. and reconvened at
1:30 P. M. with Chairman Stapleton again presiding.

MR. STAPLETON:

"We'll call the meeting to order.

The next item on the agenda is #3,
'Proposed Comments on the Yellow Jacket
project'. The Director sent a memorandum
out under date of January 8th and I'd like
to have Larry discuss that memorandum at
this point."

MR. SPARKS:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I will only sum-
marize the memorandum which was sent out to
