The Board's agricultural conservation staff has <br /> <br /> <br />developed edu-=ational materials and conduct nunerous water conservation dis- <br /> <br /> <br />plays dnd exhibits at agricultural-related events. The staff also provides <br /> <br /> <br />. technica13ssistance to help local districts conduct water conservation <br /> <br /> <br />activities and prograns. <br /> <br />Water pOllution Control Fund <br /> <br />In respon~(~ to the imflending restructuring of the federal Constroction Grants <br /> <br /> <br />Progran, the 70th Texas Le~i3Lature enacted Senate 8ill 807 (SD 807). The law <br /> <br /> <br />estabListles a state Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund to be administered <br /> <br /> <br />by the Texas Water Developnent Board. S8 807 requires that applicants for the <br /> <br /> <br />revolvi'lj loan fund develop and L<tlple:nent a water conservation 1?1an usin:J the <br /> <br /> <br />sane proo~:Jures as applicants for other 80ard loan funds.
