Credits from Power Profits during the first 71 years of
Glen Canyon operation, Colorado receives $16,595,700,
Utah $90,246,500, Wyoming $33,761,300, and New Mexico
$215,258,400. At least that is the way S500 enacted by
the Senate in the last Session in effect allocates those
credits. If you were Governor of Colorado, would you stand
for it?

Upper Colorado River Commission, presented me with
bill for the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1956.

When the expenses and the losses in the Basin are
allocated, Colorado is given 5l.75~, but when the benefits
are divided, Colorado receives 4~. You and our other
neighbors are too fair and squre to short change Colorado
in that way.

There is no one in Colorado so far as I know who is
opposed to the earliest possible construction of Central
Utah and all the other Projects in all the other States,
but what we in Colorado do object to, is allocating any
of the Anticipated Power Credits of Glen Canyon to any
State until an equitable division of~hosecredits among
all four states has been made.
