This draft had been referred to as <br />"Denver Draft"'. It was moved by J. M. Dille and seconded by Judge John B. <br />O'Rourke as follows: <br /> <br />Moved that the proposed Republican River Compact, as evidenced <br />by the so-called "Denver Draft", be approved by the Colorado <br />Water' Conserv",tion Board. <br /> <br />The motion was voted upon, unanimously carried and declared passed. <br /> <br />Question of the continuance of employment of Thomas J. Warren, as <br />Special Legal Counsel in the case of Nebraska vs., Wyoming and Colorado, United <br />States Intervener, came up for discussion. No action on this matter was taken <br />and it was left for consideration at a future date. <br /> <br />Referring back to the report of the Director and R. J. Tipton <br />concerning the action by the Committee of Sixteen, Colorado River Basin, <br />respecting temporary deliveries, of water by the Upited States to Mexico, it <br />was moved by George Bailey and seconded by Judge John B. O'Rourke as follow~, <br /> <br />That the statement of the Committee of Sixteen, Colorado River <br />Basin, respecting temporary deliverie~ of Colorado river water <br />by the United States to Mexico, approved and adopted by that <br />Committee at LO$Angeles, California on November 16-18,1942, <br />be approved by the Colorado water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />On further discussion, the motion was unanimously carried and <br />declared passed. <br /> <br />J.N. Dille announced that under action of the War Production Board, <br />it now appeared that further construction work on the Adam~ Tunnel of the <br />Colorado-Big Thompson project during the present war emergency would be dis- <br />continued on December' 24, 1942. <br />
