Pug~e <br />Attorney & Counselor at Law <br />203-4 First National Bank Bldg. <br />Craig, Colorado <br /> <br />December 29, 1953 <br />PROXY <br /> <br />To the Members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />211 State Office Building <br />Denver, Colorado <br /> <br />I hereby nominate and appoint, ED DUTCHER, as my <br />proxy at the meeting of the Board to be held on Wednesday, <br />December 30, at 10:00 A.M. in the Persian Room of the <br />Argonaut Hotel, Denver and such adjournments and post- <br />ponements thereof as may be required. Hereby ratifying <br />. and confirming all of his acts, the same as my own, and <br />the same as if I were ~rsona11y present. <br /> <br />Dated at Craig, Colorado this 29th day of <br />December 1953. <br /> <br />Isl Georae A. Mitchell <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />"Apparent1y this meeting which was scheduled today was in <br />Maybelle, a town down the river. This meeting had been <br />scheduled for some time, and the meeting consists of a <br />group of ranchmen. Mr. Pughe felt it was of utmost <br />importance. He also stated that the water of the Cross <br />Mountain reservoir would come within four miles of the <br />City of Craig. He did not make any kind of statement <br />as to whether the people would approve or disapprove <br />Cross Mountain. I told him I would make this report." <br /> <br />Mr. Moses: "How essential is it that you have the <br />action of the Water Board on this subject?" <br />
