APPLICATION FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY:
PROPOSED NONAME CREEK WATER ASSOCIATION PROJECT

INTRODUCTION

On June 12, 1981, an application for state assistance was
received on the subject prmject. Accmmpanying the application
was a water system analysis which has beerr prepared for the

ent ity by Claycomb Engineering Associates, Inc.

PROJECT

The project as proposed would add a new well and storage
tank to the existing water system. This would provide a clean

source of water and treated' water storage capacity for the

AssociatIon. The estimated cost of the project Is $145,400. It

would benefit approximately 70 families.

DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION

The project as described in the application is, in the

staff's opinion, a domestic water system. As such, it does not

qualify for CWCB construction funds in light of the criteria

contained in 37-60-121(1)(b), CRS 1973, as amended. It is

therefore recommended that funds be dented for a feasibility

study on this project.

JWM/gI
9/81
