<br />APPUCATION FOR FEAS,IBILITY STUDY: <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />PROPOSEDPARKVILLE WATER DISTRICT PROJECT <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />On, June- 12"" 1981" an, app'ltcation ror state assistance was <br /> <br />received on, the subject project. Subsequent to that date, W.W~ <br /> <br />Wheeler and Associates, Inc.i the consulting engineering firm for <br /> <br />the DIstrict, submitted additional information which outlined the <br /> <br />proposed project in more detail. <br /> <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />The project as proposed would improve the Parkville Water <br /> <br />District's domestic water fdcilities by adding a 2.6 million- <br /> <br />gallon-per-day treatment plant, treated water storage capacity in <br /> <br />the amount or '.~mllllon gallons, and approximately 2,500 feet <br /> <br />or transmission pipellne_ The estImated cost for the project is <br /> <br />$2,000,000 to $Z.500,000, whic~, if constructed with bond money <br /> <br />alone" would cause the mInImum' wate'r rate to Increase from, $10.40 <br /> <br />monthly to about $22.00 monthly. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />In light of section 37-60-121(1)(b)(II) and (VI), CRS1973, <br /> <br />as amended, the staff is of the opInion that thIs project does <br />
