SUBJECT: Agenda Item 6, September 23, 1981 Board Meeting
Applications for Feasibility Studies (Construction Fund
Program)

1. Please find attached brief summaries of six proposed projects
for which applications for feasibility studies have been
received. Each of the applications requests construction
fund monies to pay for part of the .costs of such studies.

2. The staff has reviewed each of these.

A. The first five proposed projects (Parkville, Pinon Hills,
Brighton, Cheraw, Noname Creek) are municipal or domestic
treated water or distribution system projects which are,
in my opinion, no longer eligible for funding in light of
the new statutory criteria embodied in section
37-60-121(1)(b), CRS 1973, as amended. Accordingly, I
recommended that the Board decline to fund these five
feasibility studies.
