Following these discussions, the CWCB staff will <br /> <br /> <br />evaluate and rank the firms based upon the information <br /> <br /> <br />provided in the PTSs, the discussions with each firm, <br /> <br /> <br />and the comments of the references provided by edch <br /> <br /> <br />firm. <br /> <br />3. Contract negotiations will then be initiated with the <br /> <br /> <br />highest ranked firm pursuant to section 24-30-1404, CRS <br /> <br /> <br />1973, as amended. <br /> <br />In evaluating firms, the following factors will be taken <br /> <br /> <br />into consideration by the CWCB staff, each of which will be <br /> <br /> <br />graded from one (lowest) to ten (highest) and weighted as <br />'follows: <br /> <br />101 Design of and approach to the study (as embod ied in <br />the PTS and amplified in the discussion with each <br />firm). <br /> <br />201 Capability to design and estimate the costs of earth <br />dams and foundations and of concrete spillways. <br /> <br />101 Capability to design, estimate the costs of, and <br />evaluate the potential for hydroelectric facilities. <br /> <br />201 Capability to perform hydrologic and inflow design <br />flood investigations. including reservoir operations <br /> <br />-9- <br />
