Upper Colorado River Basin Fund
The first of the revolving funds for the Bureau was the

Upper Colorado River Basin Fund, which was established by
the Colorado River Storage Project Act in 1956.

ation of the Colorado River Storage Project and

during construction, are to be repaid from the fund.
While this fund protects the revenue for its use for specifi c
purposes, it also denies use of the revenue for construction,
