tives came from the Bureau of Reclamation,
Regions 4 and 7; and the Pitkin County
Water Protective Association. .

The subject discussed was the effect
of the Frying 'Pan-Arkansas diversion on
the water supply of the Western Slope.

Mr. Boydston attended the December
13th meeting of the Colorado Sorl Conser-
vation Board held in Denver.

I would like to have Mr. Gildersleeve
give a summary of what has been done on the
Tomichi Cre~k project."

Mr. Gildersleeve, Chief Engineer, gave a brief sum-
mary of the work accomplished'on the Tomichi Creek Project and
answered questions on same ask~d by members of the Board.

MR. PETERSON:

"I should like the Director's report to
show that Mr. McCandless, Mr. Nelson, Mr.
Burr and myself attended the meeting in
Glenwood Springs, "December 10th, at Dean
Crawford's request."

"Mr. Miller has prepared a R~solution
which he has submitted for consideration by
the Board." :

MR. MOSES:

MR. MILLER:

"I would'like to read this Resolution
to you. (See Appendix C).

We hav~ Senator Oliver, who will re-
present Weld County in the coming Session
and who is a well driller, here today, and
there are p~rhaps others who would like to
be heard. My idea would be to adjourn for
lunch and then reconvene before discussing
this Resolution."

MR. MOSES:

"I think that is what is necessary. Also
I don't think either Judge Sparks or myself
feels that the question of selection of, an
attorney for the Board should be left on
its present status and that some decision
should be made before adjournment of this
meeting."

at which time we could have an informal
discussion on these matters?"
