Ongoing pumping costs ($80,000) for 10 wells to produce 9,OOOac-feet of water. Replacement of
heavy equipment used to maintain project features ($40,000).
Costs for all tasks related to this project shall not exceed $ 120,000 from the Native Species
Conservation Trust Fund.
Native Cutthroat Trout - The purpose of this project is to enhance Colorado River
cutthroat trout (CReT) populations in accordance with the Colorado-Wyoming-Utah
Conservation Agreement and Strategy (for Colorado River cutthroat trout), and preclude the
need for federal protection through listing as threatened or endangered of any nati ve
cutthroat trout in Colorado, and to ensure the timely recovery and de-listing of native
. greenback cutthroat trout.

Proiect TaskslDeliverables and Associated Costs for FY 01-02 Reconunendation:
Construction of the Colorado River native cutthroat brood fish lakes, resulting in the production
of about 500,000 eggs per year, is estimated to cost $348,000. $79,000 of NSCTF funds
originally dedicated to design has not yet been awarded. Completed constructuion would be
scheduled for fan of 2002/
