'Carhart representing the Colorado Fish and <br />GenIe C01llII1ission Wl!.S introdll.ced and disoussed the question of: the <br />appointlnent of a joint c01llll1ittee representing the Fish and Game <br />COllllIlillsion and the Colorado Water Conservation Board to study the <br />question 01' preservation 0f recreatienal va11ll8s in water develop- <br />lllent pr0grem. <br /> <br />Mr. Carhart's statement was supplelllllnted by a statement <br />by Direotor Stone who recommended that a cClllllllittee of: three be <br />appointed by the Chairman of the Water COZ1eervatien Board to serve <br />on the proposed joi:ni; cOllllllittee. The rec_ndation upon motion <br />made by Mr. Bailey and seconded by Mr. Smith was approved and the <br />Goyernor announced that he would appoint the cOllllllittee at a later <br />date. <br /> <br />Fancher Sarchet of Fort Collins, Colorado. appeared before <br />the Board and presented a clllllll1UIlication u.d. request 1;0 the Board <br />respecting certain litigation pending in the SUpreme Court of the <br />United States and the Courts of Colorado, involving the waters of <br />the I.e.ramie River. This cl'mllllun1ca1;ion was received and made a part <br />of the transcript elf the proceedings of the Board.
