<br />legal notification to the public, b) official <br />approval and designation of the base flood data <br />and information by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board, as provided in Sections <br />30-28-11, and 24-65.1-403(3)(6), CRS <br />1973, as amended, c) review by the Federal <br />Insurance Administration, d) publication in <br />full of the ordinance(s) adopting such maps and <br />supporting materials, e) filing of not less <br />than 3 copies of such adopting ordinance with <br />the (local government) (county, city, town) <br />clerk at least 15 days before the public <br />hearing, and e) public hearing. After adoption <br />of such maps and supporting materials at least <br />one copy of the adopting ordiances(s) shall be <br />kept on file with the administrator; in <br />addition, copies of such adopting ordinance(s) <br />shall be available from the (local government) <br />(county, city, town) clerk. <br /> <br />2.4 Interpretation of Official Maps - Where interpretation is <br />needed as to the exact location of the boundaries of <br />floodplains or subdivisions thereof, the Administrator may <br />make the necessary interpretation by referring, as <br />necessary, to the engineering study upon which the maps and <br />elevations are based, to the professional engineers who <br />prepared the study, to the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, and/or the Federal Emergency Management Agency. If <br />available, the base flood elevations, as shown on the flood <br />profiles and in the elevation tables, shall be the governing <br />factor in determining accurate boundaries and shall take <br />precedence over the boundaries shown on the maps. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 - USE REGULATIONS <br /> <br />3.1 General Standards - The following standards shall apply to <br />any land 1n a Floodprone District or a Designated Floodplain <br />District: <br /> <br />3.1.1 Prohibited Uses - No development or alteration in, <br />on or over any part of the Floodprone District or <br />the Designated Floodplain District shall be <br />permitted which alone or cumulatively with other <br />such uses would cause or result in: <br /> <br />(1) The storing or processing of materials <br />that are buoyant, flammable, explosive, <br />or otherwise potentially injurious to <br />human, or plant life. <br />(2) The disposal of garbage or other solid <br />or liquid waste materials. <br /> <br />-9- <br />
