<br />government) which are shown on the Offical Maps as being <br />wlthln the Floodprone District (FPD) or the Designated <br />Floodplain District (DFD). <br /> <br />2.2 Establishment of Zoning Districts - The floodplains under <br />the jurlsdiction of (local government) shall be divided into <br />the following districts: <br /> <br />2.2.1 Floodprone District (FPD) - An area in and adjacent <br />to a stream or other water course subject to <br />floodingan approximation of the area inundated by <br />the base flood as defined in Section 1.4. <br /> <br />2.2.2 Designated Floodplain District (DFD) - That area <br />WhlCh has been des~gnated as a floodplain by <br />offical action of the (local governing body), which <br />is subject to flooding as a result of the base <br />flood, as defined in Section 1.4. <br /> <br />2.3 Official Maps - The floodplains under the jurisdiction of <br />(local government), are identified in: (list maps, reports, <br />studies, and data). The said maps and reports, together <br />with all explanatory matter, water surface <br />elevations,profiles, and cr~ss-sections, where available, <br />and all amendments thereto, shall be as much a part of these <br />regulations as if fully set forth and described herein. <br /> <br />2.3.1 District Locations and Boundaries - The location <br />and boundaries of the Floodprone Districts, the <br />Designated FLoOdplain Districts, the Inner <br />Floodplain Subdistricts, and the Outer ~loodplain <br />Subdistricts, as ~elineated on the Official Maps <br />and as established pursuant to Section 2.3 of <br />these regulations, are hereby incorporated into <br />these regulations. <br /> <br />2.3.2 Adoption of Official Maps <br /> <br />2.3.2.1 The (local planning commission, appropriate <br />entity) shall review the maps proposed for <br />official adoption and present to the (Board of <br />County Commissioners, City Council, Board of <br />Trustees) its tecommendations for adoption, <br />rejection, or adoption with modification of the <br />maps. <br /> <br />2.3.2.2 Maps delineating Floodprone Districts, <br />Designated Floodplain Districts, Inner <br />Floodplain Subdistricts, and Outer ~loodplain <br />Subdistricts to be regulated together with <br />reports and other supporting materials, shall <br />be officially adopted by the (Board of County <br />Commissioners, City Council, Board of Trustees) <br />as part of these regulations only after a) <br /> <br />-8- <br />
