"It has been regularly moved and seconded
that the minutes of the April l~, 1965, meet-
ing be approved as submitted. All those in
favor will signify by saying 'aye'; opposed-
ordered approved.

With the Board's permission I am going to
alter the agenda slightly. ~tr. Joe Slizeski
of the corps of Engineers in Omaha, and the
pilots for the Corps of Engineers, would like
to leave at noon because of thunder showers
in the Denver area. Now Joe is quite willing,
if the people in the South Platte-Denver area
and the Arkansas area wanted to talk with him
tonight, to stay over. If they don't, then he
",ould like very much to get a\'1ay by noon. Are
there any people from those areas present who
\'lould like to discuss these current engineer-
ing matters with him tonight? Otherwise Joe
will be leaving at noon. Hearing none, Joe
you can count on that.

Hhat 'l'le \.,ould like to do is coordinate
the Bureau of Reclamation, Region 7, report
wi th the Corps of Engineers for the Omaha
District and Agenda Item l~5, 'Flood Control
Planning'. Inasmuch as there has been close
cooperation between this Board, Region 7, and
the Corps of Engineers, I would suggest that
first we have the Bureau of Reclamation report;
then the Corps of Engineers report; any com-
ments by the staff; then we'll open up for
questions from the Board and members of the
audience on the flood control problem generally.

So I'd like at this time to call on the
Director of Region 7, Pat Dugan, for his
report. Pat."

Board, ladies and gentlemen, we have several
projects that are in the process of investi-
gation study that are related to the flood
control need of the South Platte Basin and the
Arkansas River Basin.
