Legal notice of intent to modify weather was published <br />on January 24 and 25. 1990, and January 31-February 1, <br />1990, in the proper newspapers. <br /> <br />7. A pUblic hearing on the application was held on <br />February 2. 1990, in Cedaredge, Colorado. this being <br />not more than one week following completion of the <br />pUblication of legal notice. <br /> <br />8. The application was mailed on February 5, 1990. to the <br />Weather Modification Advisory Committee for review. <br /> <br />9. The target area is the Grand Mesa above 8.000 feet <br />elevation and adjoining mountainous areas above 8,000 <br />feet elevation east and southeast of the Grand Mesa. <br />The proposed area is bounded by Rapid Creek Reservoir <br />#1 in Section 22. TIIS R97W, 6PM on the northwest; then <br />south about 13 miles to Mesa Peak in Section 24.
