The permitee shall not undertake, or shall suspend, seeding operations if: <br /> <br />A. The National Weather Service forecasts a storm to produce unusually heavy <br />precipitation that could contribute to avalanches or unusually severe <br />weather conditions in the project area, ~ <br /> <br />B. The Colorado Avalanche Center issues an avalanche forecast warning for <br />avalanche paths located in the target area, or <br /> <br />C. The Director orders suspension of seeding for any reason. <br /> <br />8. The permitee shall inform the Colorado Department of Transportation (Region 3) <br />of its intent to seed within 48 hours of commencing any seeding operation when the <br />risk of avalanches in the area reasonably expected to be affected are high, as <br />determined by the Colorado Avalanche Center, or snow pack at any snotel <br />monitoring site selected to represent the target area is above 120% of normal. <br /> <br />9. The permitee shall prepare and maintain the following written records and reports: <br /> <br />A. A daily record of operations, which includes at a minimum the information <br />required by Form WM3 (copy attached), documentation ofmeteorological <br /> <br />3 <br />
