The, proposed program is under the sponsorship of parties listed <br />in Attachment A attached hereto. <br /> <br />3. The sponso.rship of -th,e, _proposed p'rogram is designed to undertake'. <br />a commercial weather modification program within the project area to <br />provide additional snowfall for recreational purposes. <br /> <br />4. The Applicant has demonst:rated that ,ttle persons in cc;>ntrol of <br />the project received v~lid weather modification licenses and those <br />persons are Lawrence M. Hjermstad, Richard A., Medenwaldt,. and <br />,Curtis L. Hartzell. <br /> <br />5. The applicable permit fee is $100.00 plus '2% of the total ,final <br />contract. <br /> <br />6. The Appl.icant has furnished proof of financial res-pon~'i.bility. <br /> <br />7. The Applicant has submitted an operation plan for the proposed <br />project'which plan meets the requ1rements of CRS 19~3~ <br />36-20-112(1)(d) and which is incorporated into these findings by <br />reference. . <br /> <br />8. The project appears to be conceived and offers promise of <br />providing economic benefit to the area in which the operation will' <br />be conducced. The recommendation of the Weather Modification <br />Advisory Committee supports this finding. <br /> <br />9. The project appears to be reasonably ex?ected to benefit people <br />in the area and benefit the people of the State of Colorado. 'The <br />recommendation of the Weather Modification Advisory Committee <br />supports this finding. <br /> <br />10. The project- is sci.entifically and teChnically feasible. ',The <br />recommendation of the Weather Modification Advisory Committee <br />generally supports this finding. <br /> <br />It. The project does ~ot' appear to involve a high degree of riSk of <br />sub~tantial harm to land1 people, health. safety, property_ or the <br />environment. The recommendation of the Weather Modification <br />Advisory Committee supports this find~ng. <br /> <br />12.
