The <br />Applicant shall conduct. such operations for and on behalf of GRAND <br />MESA WATER USERS ASSOCIATION, Cedaredge, Colorado 81413. Appli- <br />cant presently holds.Weather Modification License No. . The <br />name of. the person who shall be :in control of the weather modification <br />project for the corporate Applicant is NEW'IDN C. STONE, who holds <br />Weather Modification License No. . <br /> <br />The Primary Target Area of the operations for which a Weather Modif- <br />.ication Permit is sought is described as follows: <br /> <br />The watershed basin contributing to runoff into the irrigation <br />dams for Grand Mesa water Users, within the Grand Mesa region <br />and the counties of Mesa, a small portion of northern Delta, <br />and just touching northwest tip of Gunnison. <br /> <br />The general area beyond the Primary Target area which may reasonably <br />be expected to be affected by the weather modification operations for <br />which a permit is sought includes all or a portion of the follow:lng <br />counties within the State of Colorado, namely: <br /> <br />Delta, Mesa, Gunnison, Garfield and Pitkin <br /> <br />The expected duration of the weather modification operations for <br />which a permit is sought is a ninety day consecutive period within <br />the period of January to June 1977. <br /> <br />The intended effect of the weather modification operations is to <br />increase runoff into irrigation dams for beneficial water storage <br />supply. . <br /> <br />Complete details of the operations to be conducted by the Applicant <br />are available on request from the Applicant, WATER RESOURCES DEVELOP- <br />MENT CORPORATION, or from the Executive Director of the D6partment of <br />Natural Resources, 231 Columbine Building, 1845 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado, . 80203. <br /> <br />.
