Since 1987, the <br />Director of the Department of Natural Resources has delegated the authority for administration <br />of the state's weather modification program to the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board. <br /> <br />Please find enclosed a copy of the Weather Modification Act of 1972 (Article 36, Title 20, CRS) <br />and a copy of the Weather Modification Rules and Regulations found at 2 CCR 401-1. <br /> <br />You may note that in ~ 36-20-127, CRS, the Act will be repealed effective July 1, 1996. <br />However, I am also enclosing an advance copy of Senate Bill 96-90 which will continue the <br />issuance of permits for weather modification beyond the expiration date. <br /> <br />Please let me know if you have any additional questions. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />!/4;f~ P 8kt4'v p.... <br /> <br />William P.
