Application for Permit Renewal for Weather Modification <br />Activities, Form WK2, dated August 19, 1983 with attached map and <br />'the amendments dated October 13 and 26, 1983. <br /> <br />b. Application for the original Permit for Weather Modification <br />Activities, Form WK2, dated August 29, 1918. <br /> <br />c. Operational Seeding Summary Report submitted by the Applicant <br />February 18, 1982 for the San Juan Mountain Weather Modification <br />Program, conducted November 25, 1981 - February 8, 1982. <br /> <br />d. Statements at the public meeting conducted in Denver on <br />October 1, 1983. <br /> <br />e. Comments, written and oral, from citizens expressing an interest <br />in this Application. <br /> <br />f. Advice, comments, and recommendations of the Weather Modification <br />Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />g. Weather MOdification Act of 1912, Article 20, Title 36, C.R.S. <br /> <br />h. Weather MOdification Rules and Regulations dated September 12, <br />1913. <br /> <br />1. The project is under the sponsorship of parties listed in Attachment A. <br /> <br />2. The project will utilize six ground generators. <br /> <br />3. The project is intended to provide additional snowfall for recreational <br />purposes and additional snowmelt runoff for water supply. <br /> <br />4. The persons in control of the project are Lawrence M. Hjermstad and <br />Curtis L. Hartzell, who hold valid weather modification licenses. <br /> <br />5. The applicable permit fee is $100.00 plus 2~ of the total final amount <br />Applicant is paid for wor~ conducted under this permit. <br /> <br />6. Proof of financial responsibility, by means of a prepaid liability <br />insurance policy, for $1,000,000 is required for this permit to become <br />effective. <br />
