The proposed program is under the sponsorship of parties listed in <br />Attachment A attached hereto. <br /> <br />3. The sponsorship of the proposed program is designed to undertake a <br />commercial weather modification program within the project area to provide <br />additional snowfall for recreational purposes and additional snowmelt runoff <br />or water supply. <br /> <br />4. The Applicant has demonstrated that the persons in control <br />received valid weather modification licenses and those persons <br />M. Hjermstad and Richard A. Medenwaldt. <br /> <br />I . <br />of the project <br />are Lawrence <br /> <br />5. The applicable permit fee is $100.00 plus 2% af the total final contract. <br /> <br />6. Proof of financial responsibility, by means of a prepaid insurance policy <br />for $1,000,000 is required for this permit to become effective. <br /> <br />7. The Applicant has submitted an operational plan far the proposed project <br />which plan meets the requirements of eRS 1973, 36-20-l12(1)(d) and which is <br />incorporated into these findings by reference. <br /> <br />8. ~he project appears to be conceived and offers promise of providing <br />economic benefit to the area in which the operation will be conducted. Data <br />supporting economic benefit were presented by the project sponsors in the <br />permit application and at the public hearings October 21, 1981 and <br />September 29, 1982. The project appears to be reasonably expected to benefit people in the <br />area and benefit the people of the State of Colorado.
