<br />G-3 TECHNICAL DIRECTION <br /> <br />The performance of the work required herein shall be subject to the <br />technical direction of the COTR to be named at time of award. As used <br />herein, "Technical Direction" is direction to the Contractor which <br />requires interpretation of the meaning of contract provisions, fill in <br />details, or otherwise serves to accomplish the contractual statements of <br />work. The technical direction, to be valid: <br /> <br />(a) Must be issued in writing consistent with the general statement of <br />work set forth in the contract. <br /> <br />(0) May not constitute new assignment of work or change to the <br />expressed terms, conditions, or specifications incorporated into this <br />contract. <br /> <br />(c) Shall not constitute a basis for extension to the contract comple- <br />tion schedule. <br /> <br />Nothing contained in this Article authorizes the Contractor to incur <br />costs in excess of the total contract amount or other limitations on <br />funds set forth in this contract. <br /> <br />Copies of all correspondence between the COTR and the Contractor shall <br />be forwarded to the Contracting Officer at the following address: <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation <br />Procurement and Contracts Branch, <br />Attn: code 0-810 TK <br />PO Box 25007 <br />Denver, CD 80225 <br /> <br />G-2 <br />
