Sherman, E~ecutive Director, Colorado Department <br />of Natural Resources, at the Village Inn. Steamboat Springs. Colorado. The <br />proceedings were recorded by electronic recording equipment and are available <br />for review or transcription upOn request. <br /> <br />The Director was assisted at the hearing by the following members <br />of the Weather Modification Advisory Committee: <br /> <br />Dr. B~rbara Farhar <br />Dr. Hugo Ferchau <br />Dr. Archie Kahan <br />Me. Guy Mock <br />Dr. Peter Summers <br />Mr. Donald Wisdom <br />f Mr. John Woodard <br /> <br />Colorado International Corporation, herein referred to as the Applicant, <br />was represented by Mr. Stan Cazier, Attorney at Law, Grand County, at the request <br />of the Applicant. <br /> <br />The Applicant called the following witnesses: <br /> <br />Dr. Larry G. Davis <br />Dr. Donald Klein <br />Mr. Ralph Papania <br />Prof. Lcwi~ Grant <br /> <br />Testimony ~as offered by persons in attendance of said heari~g in <br />favor of the application. <br /> <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> <br />1. The Findings of Fact were predicated upon the careful review and consideration <br />of the following: . <br /> <br />a. The original Application for Permit for Weather Modification Activities, <br />Form WM2, dated October 17, 1977, with an attached map, and a revised <br />Application dated October 25, 1977. <br /> <br />b. A tape recording of the hearing conducted in Steamboat Springs on <br />November 8. 1977. <br /> <br />c. Comments, written and oral, from citizens expres~ing an interest in <br />this Application. <br /> <br />d. Advice, comments and recommendations of tne Weather Modification Advisory <br />Committee tendered to the Executive Director on November 8, 1977, as <br />well as comments subsequent to that date. <br /> <br />e. Weather Modification Act of 1972. Article 20, Title 36, C.R.S. 1973. <br /> <br />2. The prepared program is under the sponsorship of the Colorado Water Conserva- <br />tion Board and the Colorado State University Atmospheric Sciences Department. <br />
