<br />this contract maintain continuous liaison with the Director of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board or such project coordinator as he <br />may designate. <br /> <br />5. Project operations 'will be conducted under the following <br />limitations, conditions and guidelines: <br /> <br />a. All weather systems judged to be suitable for seeding <br />by the Contractor will be seeded during the period of this <br />contract. <br /> <br />b. All operations shall be carried on pursuant to the <br />provisions of Article 20, Title 36, Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1973, as amended, and more particularly as to the permits and <br />licenses required by that article. <br /> <br />c. The Contractor shall provide for appropriate public <br />information service and receive public guidance to and from <br />such citizens advisory committees as may be established by the <br />State through the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />d. The Contractor shall indemnify and hold the Stare <br />harmless from any and all claims against it for damages <br />resulting from any acts, functions or operations to modify <br />weather conducted by the Contractor, its agents or employees, <br />in an amount to be determined by the Director of the Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources. <br /> <br />e. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions and <br />conditions of any permits issued to the State of Colorado by <br />any agency of the federal government concerning the conduct of <br />weather modification activities which are covered by this <br />contract, and shall further observe and comply with any laws <br />of the United States which may be applicable to such weather <br />modification activities. <br /> <br />f. The Contractor shall coordinate and maintain appropriate <br />liaison with and furnish available information to such parties <br />as may be designated by the State for the purposes of evaluating, <br />monitoring and determining the results of the program to be <br />carried on by the Contractor pursuant to this contract. <br /> <br />g. The Contractor agrees to carry out all other terms and <br />conditions of its proposal attached hereto, whether mentioned <br />in the body of this contract or not. <br /> <br />6. For the foregoing program and services, the State shall pay <br />to the Contractor an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Five Thousand <br />Two Hundred Sixty Dollars ($505,260), a portion of which payment shall <br />be based on the actual total hours of seeding operations as set forth <br />in the Contractor's proposal attached hereto, payable in the following <br />manner: <br /> <br />a. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars <br />($175,000) upon the execution of this contract, or as soon <br />th~reafter as State fiscal procedures permit. <br /> <br />b. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) on or about <br />December 15, 1977. <br />c. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ' ($50,000) on or about <br />January 15, 1978. <br />d. The, sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) on or about <br />February 15, 1978. <br />e. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) on or about <br />March 15, 1978. <br />f.
