<br />The Primary Target Area of the operations fOr which a
<br />Weather Modlficallon Permit Is sought Is described as
<br />follows:
<br />The Western San Juan Mountains above 9,000 ft m.s.l.
<br />In the Animas, La Plata, Mancos, and Dolores drain-
<br />age basins. The target area Includes portions of the
<br />fOllowing counltes within the State of Colorado:
<br />Dolores, Montezuma, Laplata and San Juan.
<br />The general area beyond the Primary Target Area which
<br />may reasonably be expected to be affected by the weather
<br />modifIcation operations for whIch a Permit's sought In.
<br />cludes all or a portion of the following counties within
<br />Ihe Stale Of Colorado;
<br />San Miguel, Ouray, Hinsdale an~ Archuleta ':
<br />The expected duratlon of the weather mOdlflcallon
<br />operatlons for which 8 Permit Is sought Is from about Nov
<br />amber 15, 1985 to March 31, 1986.
<br />The Intended etfect of the weather modification oper.
<br />atlons Is to Increase the snowpack and preclp1tation In the
<br />above-Indicated Primary Target Area to provide additional
<br />water supplies for storage, agriculture, and many other
