The objectives of the project are to increase snow-
fall from as many seedable cloud conditions as possible in an effort
to increase the snawpack and the subsequent spring runoff in the
tributaries flowing from the target area. It is anticipated that
due to the drought conditions currently present, this increased snow-
pack will be beneficial to the municipal water supplies, agricultural
water for irrigation, and other industrial and dares tic uses. The
snow .,ill also be of benefit to t11e recreational activities in this
region.

'!he CIC operating area consists of a network of 35
generators positioned approximtely as shown on the acccrnpanying map.
Airborne seeding will be east of the northern front range, as shown
on the map. Primary target areas as designated by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board are the =untain crests which receive, on an
average, =re than 20 inches of winter precipitation (average water
